Who We Are
Free Digital Skills Empowerment Foundation
we provide free digital skills training opportunities for young people, helping them develop the technical abilities, creativity, and confidence needed to thrive in the modern digital economy.
Through initiatives such as the Design Africa 50 Youth Free Digital Empowerment Programme, we equip young people.
with skills in mobile app design, Ai Movie production, Web design , motion graphics, 3D animation and visual effects (VFX), graphic design, video production, film and documentary production, video editing, colour grading, artificial intelligence, Sound design and music production , programming, and other emerging digital technologies.
What We Do

Free Digital Skills Empowerment
Through the Free Digital Skills Empowerment Foundation, we provide free digital skills training to young people, helping them acquire practical, industry-relevant skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and the digital economy.

Youth Empowerment & Capacity Building
We work with public institutions, private organisations, community leaders, and development partners to expand access to digital education, provide learning opportunities, and equip young people with the skills to build sustainable careers.

include web development, mobile app design, graphic design, motion graphics, 3D animation, video editing, colour grading, AI-powered creative production, and other technology-driven skills.

Empowering Young People with Digital Skills
We provide free, practical training in web design and development, mobile app design, motion graphics, 3D animation, visual effects, video editing, colour grading, and other digital disciplines.
Our programmes help young people develop creative and technical abilities they can use to pursue employment, freelance opportunities, entrepreneurship, and careers in the creative technology industry.
Through our 50 Youth Free Digital Empowerment Initiative, we are building a community of skilled young Africans who can use technology to create solutions, tell African stories, and contribute to economic development.
Story of Impact: James Future Ifoma — From Learner to Co-Lecturer
Ifoma’s journey reflects this vision. She began as a learner in the Design Africa digital skills training programme, where she developed her knowledge, practical abilities, and confidence in digital technology.
Through dedication, continuous learning, and hands-on experience, Ifoma has progressed from being a student to becoming a co-lecturer, helping to teach and guide other young people in our training programme.
For us, this is what sustainable impact looks like: training young people who can, in turn, empower others.
